Coaching News!
The Hanover Warriors would like to announce the addition of Rahshon Wilson to our 14U coaching staff for the upcoming Spring season. He has been coaching since 2004 behind the scenes and the last 6 years took on an active roll. He lives in Mechanicsville with his fiancé and would like to coach and make a difference in our community. CPR certified and Coaching Certified (USA Football)
2014- Defensive Backs and Running Backs with the East End Tigers. (Runner Ups) 12U
2015-2018: 4 years with Anna Julia Cooper Episcopal School as the Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator ( 6-1 last season)
2019 Fall Season- Glen Leas Lions (10 U) Assistant Head Coach specializing in Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, Defensive Backs and Special Teams Coordinator
Regional Champs (Undefeated & Unscored On)
The Hanover Warriors would like to announce the addition of Sam Poole to our 13U coaching staff. In Sam’s coaching career he has been an assistant and head coach for the New Kent Falcons, Mechanicsville Rebels, Blue Star Cowboys and the Hanover Warriors. This past season (2019), he has been an assistant coach at Oak Knoll Middle School.
The Hanover Warriors would like to welcome Tiara Coles to our cheerleading program.
A 2010 graduate of Virginia Union University and a cheerleader all 4 years; held the titles of Freshman Captain and team captain Junior and Senior years and has also been on some semi-pro cheer and dance teams.

The Hanover Warriors are pleased to announce the we now have a 13U Head coach. His name is JJ Thompson. Originally from Montpelier, he played rec-ball for the Ashland Vikings and then Patrick-Henry High School. His position was SS/LB. In the late 1990's thru the early 2000's he volunteered and was an assistant coach at Patrick- Henry High School and then Deep Run High School. He started coaching rec-ball when his stepson wanted to play. He has been coaching at Kanawha since the mid 2000's and last spring he coached the Chesterfield senior team and went undefeated. He will bring with him a few coaches and said he is looking for a potential DC and O-Line coach. He is willing to talk to anybody if you have questions.
