The Hanover Warriors will be entering our fifth year and are looking for a great 2018 season, with 34 early signups which is our best start ever. We would like to ask that if you know of any younger players who want to play football pass this along - we need to grow football in this county again!

1PM-4 PM at Pole Green Park Community Center, 8996 Pole Green Park Lane, Mechanicsville, VA 23116
Amount: $150- after 2/10/18 price increases to $175. $50 downpayment required by 2/10/18- balance as of first day of practice.
We provide rental of game pants, game jersey and knee pads. We will also provide rental of shoulder pads to any 6U or 8U player that needs them. We can provide rental of shoulder pads to 10U,12U, AND 14U on a limited basis. All of these items are to be returned at the end of the season. We also provide the helmet decals. Please get a football helmet on your own.
In addition to registration form - you will need to 1. Turn in a DMV ID for age verification – link is on our website under forms or passport & 2.Go to www.excel2excellenceyouthfootball.com and under forms fill out Parent-Player code of Conduct and submit.

E2E Mandatory Coaches Clinic
When Sat Feb 10, 2018 1pm – 6pm
Where Henrico High School, 302 Azalea Ave, Richmond, VA 23227
General guidelines are: 6U level is developmental, so no previous experience is necessary. 8U and 10U ranges from no experience to a few years. 12U is for those players who want to better prepare themselves for fall rec ball or middle school ball. At 14U we would expect a few years experience or an athlete who wants to give football a try. These are just guidelines so it is up to each parent/guardian to decide.
*Practice times will be 6 PM-8PM – Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday except second week due to our fundraiser night at Marty’s on March 5th- Games & scrimmages will be played on Saturday.
Game times are as follows: 6U 8U 10U 12U 14U
Home Games: 12PM 1PM 2:30PM 4PM 5:30PM (Pole Green Park)
Away Games: 9AM 10AM 11:30AM 1PM 2:30 PM
Conditioning practice starts February 24th thru February 28th, 2018 – Pearsons Corner Elementary
Practices: March 1- March 10 – Pearsons Corner Elementary
Practices: March 12th and remainder of season at Pole Green Park.
Note: All of these days are subject to approval by Hanover County Parks and Recreation Department
Games: Every Saturday starting March 24 thru April 28,2018 (Each week the league features some teams and they play on Friday nights at a neutral site)
First round of Playoffs: Saturday, May 5,2018 and 6U Bowl Games are this week also.
Semifinals: Saturday, May 12,2018
Michael Robinson Camp; Saturday, May 19, 2018
Championship Game: Saturday, June 2,2018
End of season event: June 9,2018
We are proud of the fact that with only 4 seasons under our belt, we had over 60 of our former players on high school teams this past year and 2 playing at the college level. We will be putting the list on our website. In addition, 3 of our former players were in the Big River Rivalry and 4 were on the All- Metro team or honorable mention this past year.
