Registrations are open for our 2027 Spring football and cheerleading season. We have announced our 10U/12U and 14U head coaches - see coaches page. Currently are looking for a cheer director and 8U head football coach - please send us an email if interested [email protected] To register: Click registration / fill out form and click submit Team age divisions 8U-14U (age as of 6/30/2027) 8U (ages 7-8) - little or no experience required Date of Birth: 7/1/2018 – 6/30/2020 (cheer 7/1/2018-6/30/2022) 10U (ages 9-10) - moderate to no experience required Date of Birth: 7/1/2016 – 6/30/2018 12U (ages 11- 12) - moderate to little experience recommended Date of Birth: 7/1/2014 – 6/30/2016 14U (ages 13-14) – moderate experience recommended Date of Birth: 7/1/2012 – 6/30/2014 We reserve the right to add or drop teams based on demand and league makeup * Football - ages 7-14 & Cheerleading – ages 5-14 If there is enough demand we possibly could add a 7U/9U/11U/ or 13U team IN PERSON REGISTRATIONS To be announced Helmet & Shoulder Pad Rental Cost is: $10 shoulder pads / $25 helmet / $30 both Payment for these is cash / check / or Cash APP $hanoverwarriors LINK FOR WARRIORS STORE – If you want to buy Warriors merchandise https://hanoverwarriors2026.itemorder.com/shop/home/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ FIELD CLOSURES Inclement Weather & Field Status Updates Field Conditions and Closures Field closure announcements are made by 3PM, Monday - Friday and by 7AM, Saturday and Sunday. • Athletic Field Hotline (804) 365-4698 • Social media via Facebook and Twitter @hanoverparksrec The department will not change a field closure determination once it has been announced. If inclement weather arrives and/or field conditions deteriorate, it is the permitted organization’s responsibility to determine if practice/games need to be cancelled. Field damage resulting from using unplayable fields will result in additional charges and continued violations can result in revoking a current permit and/or denial of future applications. -The Hanover Warriors do not cancel fields – it is determined by Hanover County Parks & Recreation |

Game Jersey Helmet decal Game Pants -we wear black pants for our games, if you have your own you can use them – if not, we can provide. FOOTBALL PARENTS/ GUARDIANS SUPPLY: Practice Pants/ Practice Jersey/ Girdle/ Game Socks-Black / Cleats/ Mouthpiece/Helmet/Shoulder Pads Helmet and Shoulder Pads – see below for Rental of Helmet and Shoulder Pads ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CHEERLEADERS - EQUIPMENT PROVIDED BY HANOVER WARRIORS FOR SEASON: (TO BE RETURNED) Vest and Skirt CHEERLEADING PARENTS/ GUARDIANS SUPPLY: CHEERLEADING DIRECTOR WILL ADVISE Bows /Pom Poms/Socks Lollies/Crop Tops/Warm-Ups Shoes (Blue Star or Hornets shoes allowed) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RENTAL OF HELMETS AND SHOULDER PADS We have 150 helmets and 150 shoulder pads that are available to rent for the season. At our uniform try-ons, if you need a helmet or shoulder pads- please select a helmet size and shoulder pad size which we will record and will then be handed out the first day of practice. – to be returned at end of season. Cost is: $10 shoulder pads / $20 helmet / $30 both Payment for these is cash / check / or Cash APP If you have your own helmet any color is allowed for spring. If you buy your own we recommend – white helmets if you are going to play for Blue Star or Mechanicsville in the fall, or whatever your fall rec ball colors are going to be. If you are going to be playing middle school or high school football in the fall– buy your school helmet color. |
